Touch for Health Kinesiology
Karen Watson KF Assoc. MIPTI

I have been working within the field of complementary medicine for 11 years first finding a passion in bodywork through Massage and Aromatherapy. In 1995 I started working alongside four Chiropractors supporting their treatment with massage, rehabilitation programmes and other forms of soft tissue therapy.

During this work I discovered a need for addressing the emotional issues that individuals were facing in conjunction with their physical care. This demand together with my own need for development led me to train as a Kinesiologist.

This included Touch for Health Kinesiology, Perceptual Bodywork and Cranio Sacral Therapy which gave a mix of skills allowing me to assist others to identify and resolve problems they were experiencing.

As my practice grew I developed an interest in children with learning and behavioural challenges working closely with families to help address the difficulties they were facing. It has been incredibly rewarding working to improve coordination, concentration and learning ability, seeing the improvements in the children I work with.

I am also a Therapeutic Coordinator at a School for children with severe and profound learning difficulties where I have found my skills beneficial in calming and relaxing the children. I have a zest for life and live every minute with a smile. I enjoy helping people to achieve their goals and doing things that satisfy my need for new challenges.

I am a registered instructor with the International Kinesiology College, Australia, registered Kinesiologist with the Kinesiology Federation and a member of the British Complementary Medicine Association.

I offer Kinesiology, Cranio Sacral Therapy & Massage sessions and teach Touch for Health Kinesiology workshops in and around Bristol.
